From birth to 12 months of age, Glycerol Suppositories are a gentle, fast acting way to relieve occasional constipation. Glycerol suppositories generally produce a bowel movement in 15 to 60 minutes. The laxative effect is due to glycerol's osmotic effect which draws water into the stool. This is a much healthier way to relieve your newborn or infant of discomfort from constipation, or trapped wind in the bowels compared to Lactulose, Movicol, or any other medicinal laxative that has to travel through the child’s body.

Ingredients – 1.4g glycerol per suppository, gelatin and water. These suppositories to not contain lactose, sucrose or gluten.
